Get help with SubScan — installation, Zoom connection, and troubleshooting.
SubScan requires a Zoom account and the SubScan desktop app for macOS. To get started:
The Meeting Manager gives you a full calendar view of your upcoming Zoom meetings without leaving the SubScan overlay. Click the calendar icon in the SubScan toolbar to open it.
Connecting your Zoom account. Click Connect Zoom Account in the Meeting Manager. Your browser will open to Zoom and ask you to authorise SubScan. Once you click Allow, the browser closes and the calendar populates automatically.
If the connection fails or you are not returned to the app:
Viewing meetings. Switch between Day, Week, and Month views using the tabs at the top of the Meeting Manager. Click any meeting to see its full details including the join URL, time, and duration.
Creating a meeting. Click the + button in the top-right corner. Fill in the title, date, time, and duration, then click Create. The new meeting will appear in your calendar and in Zoom immediately.
Editing a meeting. Click a meeting, then click the pencil icon. Update the topic, start time, or duration and click Save. The change is reflected in both SubScan and Zoom.
Cancelling a meeting. Click a meeting, then click the trash icon. Confirm the prompt — the meeting is removed from your Zoom calendar.
Personal Meeting Room. Your Personal Meeting Room (PMR) link is shown at the bottom of the Meeting Manager. Click the copy icon to copy it to your clipboard for quick sharing before unscheduled calls.
Disconnecting your Zoom account. Click the Disconnect button next to the Zoom Connected badge. This revokes SubScan's access to your Zoom calendar and clears all stored credentials. It does not affect the live call analysis connection.
Live call analysis (the coaching HUD) is a separate connection from the Meeting Manager. Click Connect SubScan in the app and authorise via Zoom. SubScan activates automatically when you start a Zoom meeting as host.
If the HUD does not appear during a call:
To disconnect, click Disconnect in the app for each connection (Connect SubScan and Connect Zoom Account) separately. To fully remove SubScan, visit zoom.us/profile/connected-apps, find SubScan, and click Uninstall. All stored tokens are revoked immediately.
For information on how SubScan handles your data, see our Privacy Policy. Audio and video streams are processed in real time and are not stored by default. Meeting metadata (titles, times) is fetched on demand and never stored by SubScan.
